Another Auntie Wendy-generated Update
The pair spent a fun couple of days up at Watson Lake, playing and watching planes, and pulled into White Horse last night, expecting to leave this midday.
Still no cell reception. I got yer "Northwest Package" right here, buddy.

Latest location...
Terrace, B.C. is the last known location of Sheila Doog and Denny D. They left there around 11am on Friday and we are still waiting to hear from them--we assume cellular reception is poor to non-existent.
Check in when you can kids.

We're in Canada
After a tip to the vet in Cottage Grove, OR.(I managed to get a four inch rappala lure hooked into my lip) , we spent the night in Sumas, WA. A small dairy town, Sumas is far nicer than it smells. We crossed into Canada and the terrain changed from farmland to high craggy peaks as we drove the Canada Hwy 1. The Fraser River was our companion for most of the trip into Prince George, B.C.

And they're off!
Auntie Wendy here:
Denny and the Doog took off from Coronado's dog beach at approximately 1120 hours, headed north to Anchorage, Alaska! (with just a few stops in between I expect)
We had one last dog beach visit before they went.

Go Doog Go!
Check in with The Daily Doogonce in awhile to see where I'm at along the Great Northern Roadtrip from Coronado, California to Anchorage, Alaska. I'll be navigating while Dad pilots our Ford Ranger through California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, the Yukon Territory, and the Alaskan Bush Country. It's a 3,500 mile journey that will take 10-14 days to complete. I'll keep you posted on our camping and fishing spots as well as road conditions along the way. Please realize that I'm just a Dog and therfore not very internet savvy. Dad has'nt been much help but together were learning. A big Thank You to Auntie Wendy for setting up this site. The Adventure begins the second week of June.
